Bungee Buddies are one of those things that costs so little, yet provide incredible value. When Laurene and I used to camp off of our BMW R80, we'd Bungee our tent and one or two bags on top of the tail box. Unfortunately, the Bungee hooks really scraped up the bracket where they were attached, and on more than one occasion a Bungee "bit" me while trying to make it hook around a bar hidden under the top box.

When I picked up my new R1100RT, the dealership had a bucket of Bungee Buddies on the service counter. They looked pretty handy, so I grabbed a handful and installed them on my new bike's top box. What a difference! No more struggling to find a spot to anchor my Bungee cords, and no more scrape marks on the motorcycle!

I think most of us have a mental list of "Must Have" items that we will put on any bike we own, as soon as practically possible after getting the bike. Bungee Buddies are on my list.
