Garmin Zumo 550 GPS (with XM Radio and/or MP3) Package For Honda Gold Wing 1500

This package includes all the common accessories that we recommend to install a Garmin Zumo 550 GPS on a Honda GL1500 Gold Wing. This package includes the Zumo GPS with motorcycle mount, Garmin GXM-30 XM receiver with mounting bracket, and a wiring harness to power the GPS and to connect the audio through the GL1500's FM radio. This connection enables the use of the Zumo's MP3 player and XM Radio for stereo sound through your GL1500's FM Radio. Voice prompts and cell phone calls will automatically interrupt MP3 or XM music sources, but will NOT interrupt music from the GL1500's AM/FM or cassette player. If you wish to use MP3 but not XM radio, you can uncheck the boxes next to the GXM-30 receiver and the GXM-30 mounting bracket - all other components remain the same.

This package allows audio from the Zumo to be switched from FM Modulator (for use with MP3 and/or XM) and Intercom (so that voice prompts and phone calls* can be heard when listening to AM, FM, or cassette).
*Phone call features available only with the Zumo 550

Important Note: The CellSet MC/GPS3 requires the installation of a switch to choose between FM Modulator and Intercom audio. There are multiple switch choices available.
