The Texelent accessory bar is a new, unique mounting system that fits the Gold Wing 1500 and 1800 motorcycles. The bar fastens to the clutch & brake mounting bolts on the Gold Wing handlebars, and provides a mounting platform across the bars. Besides providing a convenient place for your accessories, the Texelent bar also reduces handlebar "buzz" on the GL1800 Gold Wings.

The Texelent system consists of the bar itself, plus several different mounting brackets for it. You can also use R-A-M mounts in conjunction with the Texelent to position items above or below the level of the bar.

The Texelent is available in a couple of versions. The GL1500 Texelent bar can be mounted "high" or "low" on the handebars, so that you can position it properly for your height and accessory combination to avoid blocking instrumentation. The GL1800 Texelent will also mount high or low, and a "Plus Spacer Kit" is also available to better fine-tune the position. Or, for the ultimate in accessory mounting optons on the 1800, choose the Dual bar, which features both low and high Texelent bars for maximum flexibility.

In addition to the bar, you'll need some of the Texelent clamps. The choices here can be a little confusing, so don't hesitate to contact us for help in configuring your system. Each of the clamps below includes a description of the most common uses, but certainly you can be creative and adapt them to do just about whatever you need.

Texelent GL1800 Gold Wing Bar Kits Texelent GL1800 Gold Wing Bar Kit includes handlebar brackets and one Texelent crossbar mount. Two versions of the mounting brackets are available: Original Brackets are smaller and provide a cleaner overall look on the bike. These are ideal for a motorcycle that is being accessorized from scratch, and has nothing currently mounted to the handlebar clutch/brake mounting bolts. Combo Brackets incorporate an extra set of threaded mounting holes on each side, which are spaced and threaded identically to the clutch/brake sockets already on the bike. This allows items already mounted on a GL1800's handlebars (RAM mounts, drink holders, Butler cups, etc.) to be transferred over to the Texelent brackets without needing to purchase TX-THCK 2-hole mounts. *Choose Version:*	Qty:
Texelent GL1800 Gold Wing Double Bar Kit Texelent GL1800 Gold Wing Double Bar Kit - includes Original mounting brackets, with two Texelent accessory bars - one mounts low, the other high. The Double Bar Kit also includes two Texelent Spacer Plus Kits, which allows the top bar to be mounted 1" higher than normal and the bottom bar 1" lower than normal. Texelent Spacer Plus Kit Texelent Spacer Plus Kit - Spacers and hardware to allow the bar to be moved up approximately 1" if mounted in the high position, or down 1" if mounted in the low position. The Spacer Plus Kit gives you more flexibility in setting the location of your Texelent bar, and can help ensure that the Texelent and items mounted to it don't block your view of the gauges and displays on your GL1800. Texelent 6-hole Mounting Plate The 6-Hole Mounting Plate is designed to fasten items that have a standard AMPS bolt pattern, such as the Delphi SkyFi or Roady-series XM Radio, or Streamer GT Sirius radio. Tech Mounts Basic Bar Kit, Black The Tech Mounts Basic Bar Kit fits 7/8" through 1-1/4" tubular bars. The round accessory plate works with any AMPS accessories or most 2-hole items (e.g. RAM cradles). Texelent 3-hole Shelf Bracket The 3-hole Shelf Bracket is 4-1/2" long, and can be used with a plate of ABS, aluminum, or other material to create a shelf or platform for just about any sort of accessory. The shelf brackets are sold individually; depending upon the material you use and the items you want to mount you may need one or two shelf brackets. Texelent 4-hole horizontal Mounting Plate The 4-hole mounting plate accepts any R-A-M device cradle that has two holes approx. 1-7/8" apart horizontally.
