Mounting a radar detector on a Gold Wing, BMW R11GS, Harley, or other
"Large" bikes is pretty easy. Our R-A-M mounting
system has lots of options for bikes that have some cockpit room to
play with. Sport bikes, however, present unique challenges for
mounting. Of course, these tend to be the bikes with the most
NEED for a radar detector as well.
Installation of this bracket does require a bit of care. You will be drilling two holes in the windshield of your bike, so the instructions need to be followed closely to ensure that the bracket is positioned properly. Once the bracket is installed, it is extremely secure and can be adjusted to level the radar detector for optimum performance. |

The
Legal Speeding Sport Bike Radar Detector mount is an excellent
solution for these bikes. It secures the radar detector to the
underside of the windshield, where it is out of the way of the rider,
tank bag, and handlebars, but it is in a location that is very easy
for the rider to see even when he is tucked down. The anodized
aluminum bracket has a Velcro strap and buckle, so it will fit
detectors of any size.
