Riders who live in areas with a lot of toll roads encounter a unique problem - where do you put your toll pass? You can put it in your pocket, but it doesn't always pick up - and if there is a photo-enforcement system, the tag doesn't show up in the picture, so you get a ticket. If you Velcro it to the reservoir or windshield, you have a danger of it "taking flight" unexpectedly. The CyclePass toll tag holder provides a simple, secure mouting solution for most common tags, including EZ-Pass, I-Pass, M-Tag, and Smart-Tag. The CyclePass is designed for 1" diameter handlebars. It can be used on smaller bars by adding some shim material (not included). You can fit the CyclePass to larger bars up to 1-1/2" by purchasing longer screws locally, but there will be a gap between the CyclePass holder and clamp with any bar over 1" diameter. It has a quick-release bracket that keeps the pass securely fastened, but lets you easily remove it to relocate to a different vehicle.
For bikes without round handlebars, the CyclePass also can be used with the R-A-M mounting system, see the link below for more information.
Important information about toll pass sizes: The CyclePass is designed for a 3-3/4" x 3-1/8" toll pass transponder, which is a common size for I-Pass (Illinois), EZ-Pass (Northeastern states), M-Tag (Maryland, part of EZ-Pass), Smart-Tag (Virginia, also part of EZ-Pass) and others. We've seen larger passes used by SunPass (southwest states) that are over 4" wide, and these will not fit the CyclePass holder. Please check the size of your toll pass transponder before ordering, to ensure that it will fit the 3-3/4" by 3-1/8" CyclePass holder. |
