The Ezy-Mount package for the R1200RT positions PIAA 1100X or 004-series lamps under the fairing, where they don't ruin the clean lines of this beautiful bike. The brackets and lamps mount easily, and the lamps can be removed with the brackets for service without messing up the aim of the lamps. Two small holes need to be drilled in concealed areas under the fairing. This package includes the light mounts and all hardware to install any version of the PIAA 1100X or 004 lamps (automotive or powersports versions).

We recommend that this kit only be used on R1200RT's with Electronic Suspension Adjust (ESA). Bikes without ESA have reduced clearance and will likely end up with scratched fenders if this kit is installed.

Don't be fooled by the small size of the 1100X lamps - they pack a wallop! The 1100X are ideal for nighttime driving, with the capability of covering the road out to high-beam distances with excellent side coverage. This new Powersports version also has a much more motorcycle-friendly wiring harness.

The PIAA 004X lamps are an excellent low-beam supplement driving lamp, and do a great job at making you more visible to oncoming traffic any time of day. They are bright enough to illuminate the road around you, but won't bother oncoming cars at night as long as they are aimed properly. This kit includes the PowerSports version of the 004X, which draws only 35W per lamp to allow use with smaller alternators.
