The big GS uses a "hybrid" of the Big Mak system. The R1100R tank rack fits best, but the long handlebars work better with the Explorer bag, typically used on the R1100RT. The cross-bar is somewhat in the way when flipping the bag forward for refueling. By releasing the velcro and sliding the bag back a few inches, the bag can be moved out of the way of the crossbar. It will actually rest on the crossbar while the bag is up, so you don't need to remove the bag completely to fuel up. Big Mak AirBag kits include the Tank Rack for your model of bike, and one of the AirBags. The features and prices are listed with each bag below.

Big Mak GTO Budget AirBag with Tank Rack
4" tall, 11.5" long, 6" wide. The Goat budget bag is a perfect way to get a "feel" for how the AirBag system works, and to use as a "city" bag to switch out with a larger AirBag when you're traveling. The GTO doesn't have the mesh side pockets or interior Velcro dividers, but it does have an integrated map pocket on the lid. The zipper isn't covered by a flap like on the other AirBag models, but a rain cover is included so weather won't be a problem. Not compatible with most of the AirBag accessories (map cases, pockets, etc.) - this is a stand-alone bag.
