RAM iPod Mount. Installation requires a mounting base, an arm, a Apple iPod Classic Cradle, and a Compact Base / Cradle Ball Adapter. Choose the length of arm and base style that fits your needs. Always ensure that electronic devices used on your motorcycle are securely restrained or tethered. Portable MP3 players are very popular among motorcyclists, and the Apple iPod is among the most sought after. RAM makes a secure cradle that holds many iPod models.

Compatible iPods:
This cradle fits most of the iPod Classic models, including the 160GB, and it fits most original iPod models (2006 & older). It does not fit the 1st generation 20GB/30GB models from 2002/2003. It does not fit any of the Nano, Mini, Touch, or Shuffle iPods.

Pricing Information
In order to mount the iPod on your motorcycle, you'll need a few different pieces.

First, you need the RAM-IPOD Cradle ($9.00) and a RAM-COMP ball adapter ($6.50). Then, you will need an Arm and a Base. For the Arm and Base choices appropriate for your motorcycle, scroll down on this page to see the alternatives.
